1. What will the weather be like?

We expect cooler but Spring weather conditions in the Rioja wine region and in Madrid varying between 11 and 17 degrees Celsius and as we travel south to the Andalucia region and cities of Seville and Granada, temperatures are warmer with average daily highs around 20 degrees Celsius. 

2. When do I need to choose the optional dine around dinners in Seville and in Granada? Is there an extra charge?

We are offering two ‘dine around’ dinners experiences; one in Seville on March 31st and one in Granada on April 3rd.  Both dinners at an additional cost. Further details on the dinners will be available in January 2025. 

3. What are the seating arrangements for meals?

There is no assigned seating.

4. Are gratuities included in the cost of this tour?

Gratuities for all group services are included.

5. Can I join the tour late or leave early?

You can join the tour on any day, however, no refund or credit will be provided for unused services.

6. Can you arrange an extension to my tour?

Absolutely! We can book the tour hotels for you if you’re arriving before the start date or staying on past the end of the tour. We also offer extensions to extend your journey in Granada or in Malaga, Spain, and can customize any pre- and post-tour travel for you.

7. What sort of fitness level do I require for this tour?

A good level of fitness is important for this trip. You must be comfortable walking on uneven terrain and irregular paving and climbing stairs. Visits to the archaeological sites involve walking over rough and uneven ground. There are some early starts. Participants are responsible to ensure they are fit for this tour. You should consult your physician to confirm your fitness for travel and participation in any planned activities. You should seek your physician’s advice on vaccinations and medical precautions. Worldwide Quest does not provide medical advice. It is your responsibility to assess the risks and requirements of each aspect of this trip based on your own unique circumstances, limitations, fitness level and medical requirements.

8. Will my dietary restrictions (no dairy, gluten-free, diabetic, etc.) be looked after?

We share all your dietary requirements with the hotels and restaurants on this tour and make every effort to accommodate your requests.

9. Will I need to find a restaurant on my own if a meal is not included?

We would be happy to make suggestions for your independent meals.

10. I don’t have a roommate. Do I have to pay the single supplement?

The tour is based on double occupancy. Please call us for more details.

11. What clothing do I need to pack?

We recommend ‘resort casual’ comfortable clothing. For men – casual attire during the day including light pants, t-shirts, light shirts and a light waterproof jacket or sweater and in the evening pants and a shirt. Coats and ties may be worn but are not required. For women we recommend skirts or dresses, capri pants, t-shirts, and blouses/shirts and a sweater or waterproof jacket for the evening. We recommend comfortable walking shoes and closed-toe sandals with good treads for all guests. We will provide a suggested packing list prior to departure.
